The filters are a standard size so you can use the actual filter elements from both brands in both units or even in a plastic bucket with a 1/2" hole cut in the bottom.

Nothing beats the purity of reverse osmosis.

There are portable systems available that don't need electricity.

What I must research can it purify lake water or any water that's not potable

Are any of these systems NSF certified? If not why not?

At least has water purity quality been 3rd party tested and verified.... are results available?
