Agree! but I'd rather hide safely until it ends if I can. 😉

My brother, who worked 24X7 to mitigate systems when 2000 approached, urged me to prep. While most systems did get fixed, I was able to use my stores to feed my other brother who had been laid off. It was a great learning experience as to what would last in cans, what types of other storage worked best. So, I began to build up my stores because an economist I follow said massive inflation was coming, along with shortages. He was correct. I was able to supplement when the shortages from covid came, and later when the inflation hit to reduce my bills as I rotated stores.

Along with supply chain issues, we have seen massive fires and storms that have affected agricultural and other products. This economist says that we are entering stagflation, which is another set of increases as a continued reaction to issues caused by covid shutdowns. So many products are now unavailable as businesses failed as a result. We are also entering a cycle of pandemics, which are natural and outside the covid plandemic likely caused by laboratory escape. Noted virologist, Geert Vanden Bossche, is predicting a much worse version of covid as the shots made it easier for it to evolve into something that can better evade immune systems. Preparation must include getting ourselves and immune systems as healthy as possible.

For those of us who don't have areas to grow, long term storage makes sense. I looked into a freeze dryer, but the cost was greater than just buying the food itself for me. If I had an area to grow enough food, it would make sense.
