It is irresponsible to leave firearms and ammunition off of the self defense list. Leaving something so obvious the list makes one wonder what else important to health, safety and security was left off of the list.

A lot of stuff missing that is prep 101: compass, mirror, magnifying glass, whistle, Benadryl, rope, etc.

Slowing an assailant while you run away? I would slow them with a "pick your caliber" to center mass. Stuns guns need an energy source. I am unaffected by pepper spray (I was really disappointed during a BLET hose-down by its effects) - "we" exist - OC is a mild annoyance. Wasp spray is far better. Overall, a decent list - happy to see respirator and gas masks included. Liquid pool cleaner is 10% hypochlorite whereas bleach is 6% - although both have a limited shelf life. Do not overlook the diminutive 22LR - 5000 rounds is small and affordable. Keep your firearms solutions simple and be prepared for battlefield recovery. It is never too late to prepare. MHO - YMMV.
